Production Services: Innovating Event Solutions with Excellence

As a vital department within the School of Continuing and Professional Studies, Production Services supports the Georgia College & State University campus and surrounding areas by providing cutting-edge event technology and logistical solutions for non-classroom settings. Our mission is to deliver exceptional and efficient support for events and productions both on and off campus while fostering a deep understanding of technological and logistical advancements.

Our services offer Georgia College students unparalleled hands-on training, equipping them with the skills and expertise necessary to thrive in the fast-growing entertainment industry.

In collaboration with Facility Reservations and the Office of University Events and Protocol, Production Services ensures comprehensive assistance, support, and training for all technological needs. Off Campus Support Services

The same professional production services normally found on our campus are available off campus as well. Use this link to request services off campus. 

Livestream and recording services

Campus agreed rates for these services are listed below.

-On Campus Livestream and Recording - Utilizing installed camera equipment with an edited HD final video export. $65/hr with a four-hour minimum. 

-On Campus Livestream and Recording - Multi-camera shoot with an edited 4K final video export. $95/hr with a four-hour minimum. 

 

Policies and Procedures

A minimum of a two week notice is required to schedule a technical specialist for events on campus. A three week notice is required to support off campus events. Shorter notices will be accommodated if staffing is available.

Upon receiving an an event confirmation on campus, you will need to schedule a meeting with Production Services to discuss the logistical and technical needs and potential costs associated.

For services to be offered or equipment used off campus, a signed university service agreement must be in place. The signed service agreement will detail all services and costs associated.

Equipment will not be checked out or rented without a university service agreement.
